Pie0: Measuring Success →

I have a variety of friends. From a variety of walks of life. I have people who just wander, people who work regular 9-5, people who are self-made millionaires, people who’s only aspiration is family and … fuck it. You name it, I probably have a friend like that.

Often people look down on others if their life has not met, or is not on the path to meet their goals. The truth is that success is relative and individual. Some people have small aspirations, some large. The ONLY thing they should be working towards is being fulfilled, and happy. But then again, that’s not even your place to judge them on that.

I was talking to a friend earlier about how their friends were looking down on them for not having a career, not knowing what they wanted to do and just couch surfing across the States. Thing is, my friend is far happier than those who judge her about her lifestyle.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again. Fuck everyone else, those who matter will be happy for you.

Zach struck a chord with me tonight. Just try to be happy and enjoy life.
